Ray Lewis III

We all know who Ray Lewis is, now it is time to meet his son, Ray Lewis III.

Lewis III remains humble at heart, aware that his father is one of the greatest linebackers to ever play the game.  He understands the pressure that he faces on the field, but with all of the hard work that he has dedicated to the game of football, he knows that he "...will be successful."

Lewis III (5-9, 175) attends Lake Mary Prep where he plays mostly running back and linebacker.  Last year he was responsible for 2,321 yards and 29 touchdowns.  He also led his team on defense with 92 tackles and one sack.

He has already received the attention from most of the big schools around the country, but he currently holds zero offers.  Having grown up around the Miami Hurricanes (his mother also attended the University of Miami), Lewis insists that he would like to keep his options open and explore what the various universities each have to offer.

Lewis III said that Miami has always "been my [his] dream school and where I [he] wanted to go."  He goes on to say that if he were to choose a top five today, they would be "Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, and Tennessee."

He has been in touch with current Hurricanes running backs coach Terry Richardson and was invited to participate at Miami's junior day that past weekend.  He has grown up watching Miami and his favorite player is the late, great Sean Taylor.

So 'Canes nation, it seems that Miami may have another go round with a Ray Lewis.  If junior is anything like his father, I'm sure he will not disappoint.
