Ricardo Louis is one of the top athletes in the state of Florida.

As of now, he has officially decommitted from the Florida State Seminoles and stated that he is committed to nobody at the moment.

Oh, the soap opera that is college recruiting...

Not long ago, Louis decommitted from Auburn, where he had been committed to for nearly a year.  He took an official visit to Florida State and decided that playing in Tallahassee would be best for him.

Not so fast.

Louis seems to be torn between the two schools.  After officially decommitting from Florida State, he now insists that on signing day he will announce where he will play his college ball.  As of now—and we all know that this can change at any moment—it is between Auburn and Florida State.

Louis, at 6'2" and 205 pounds, was a stud for Miami Beach High (FL.).  He is being recruited as a wide receiver, but some would like to see him play at safety.  He is listed as a four-start recruit and is among the top 200 players in the nation.

He currently holds offers from 15 BCS schools, including Florida State, Alabama, Miami, Auburn, Florida, Ohio State and South Carolina.

Louis is an extremely skilled athlete.  He is quick and possesses quite the vertical leap.  He is physical and can line up on either side of the ball.

With a week remaining until signing day, it is safe to say that anything can happen.  Golden needs to get on this kid ASAP.  Keep the local kids at home!  That is, keep the state of Miami on lock.

Stay posted.
