According to NBC sports, the game will air nationally, and kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time, Saturday October 6th. Let's hope that the 'Canes decide to show up for this game, unlike the bowl game where Randy Shannon was at the helm.
Miami and Notre Dame is an old rivalry and the two teams have met a total of 24 times. Miami doesn't fair too well against the Fighting Irish, with an all-time record of 7-16-1.
Somehow Soldier Field is considered a neutral site, however, Notre Dame will be the home team.
