Eight Hurricanes Suspended

Eight players have been listed as ineligible for allegedly receiving benefits from Nevin Shapiro.  They are: Ray Ray Armstrong (4 games), Sean Spence (1 game), Travis Benjamin (1 game), Dyron Dye (4 games), Marcus Forston (1 game), Adewale Ojomo (1 game), Jacory Harris (1 game), and Olivier Vernon (6 games).  I think the loss of Armstrong will hurt the most.  However, we should be stacked enough to make it through Maryland.  The 8 suspended players are not allowed to travel to games but are allowed to continue practicing with the team.  UM has not said if they will appeal any of these suspensions.  Yet, it is to be assumed that they will try to get Ojomo's and Armstrong's suspensions reduced.
