Pro Canes Cut by NFL Teams

16 former Hurricanes have been cut prior to the start of the NFL season.  Among those: Graig Cooper (Philadelphia), Sinorice Moss (Philadelphia), Dedrick Epps (Miami), Darnell Jenkins (New England), Jared Campbell (Arizona), Brandon Meriweather (New England), Baraka Atkins (Pittsburgh), Damione Lewis (Houston), Brett Romberg (Atlanta), Damien Berry (Baltimore), Tavares Gooden (Baltimore), Ryan Hill (Minnesota), Javarris James (Indianapolis), Dwayne Hendricks (Giants), Corey Nelms (San Francisco), and Patrick Hill (Tennessee). 

Brandon Meriweather was picked up by the Chicago Bears as the two sides agreed to a one-year deal.  He has made the Pro Bowl the last two seasons.
