'Canes Impress at Annual Shrine

The Miami Hurricanes were represented, quite well I may add, by four former athletes in the annual East/West Shrine Bowl.

Former 'Canes tight end Chase Ford was perhaps the biggest surprise of the game.  We have seen this time and time again.  Guys who are somewhat lackluster during the season and then go on to impress at the various "events" following their career at the U.

In any event, Ford reeled off a stellar 64-yard catch and run during the first quarter.  He managed to impress a number of NFL scouts following the event.

LaRon Byrd scored a on three-yard touchdown pass just before halftime.  Byrd also caught the eyes of scouts that were in attendance.

Center Tyler Horn and defensive tackle Micanor Regis saw a substantial amount of playing time as well.

Way to make the U look good fellas!
