DT Ivery Commits to Miami

Lake City Columbia defensive tackle Dequan Ivery was a bit of a surprise commit for the Hurricanes today.  Ivery, who was originally committed to Louisville, decided to ink with the 'Canes instead. 

He admits that switching his commitment was a tough decision because his mother wanted him to attend Louisville (wonder why?).  Miami started recruiting Ivery after his senior season, and he eventually received an offer from Golden. 

He becomes the third defensive tackle in Miami's 2012 class.  Ivery finished his senior season with 42 tackles and 10 sacks.
