Miami Receives 2014 Commit

2014 wide receiver Travis Rudolph has committed to the Miami Hurricanes.  Rudolph (6-0, 170), out of Cardinal Newman, attended Al Golden's camp this past weekend where he received an offer--it didn't take him long to decide where he wanted to play his college ball.

Said Rudolph, “When Coach Franklin was talking to me, he was saying a lot of good stuff.   My cousins (Devin Hester, Michael Smith) went to Miami and it being close to home played a big part. I only got the offer a couple hours ago.”

In his sophomore year,  Rudolph had 45 catches for 681 yards and six touchdowns.  He also rushed the ball 47 times for 460 yards.

Rudolph becomes Miami's second commitment for 2014, joining offensive lineman Trevor Darling.
