Miami Agrees to Repay $83,000

The University of Miami has agreed to repay $83,000 in money received from convicted ponzi schemer Nevin Shapiro.

The money will be applied to Shapiro's bankruptcy case which is designed to recover funds that were stolen from investors of Shapiro.

It seems that ESPN has since changed it's tone since the allegations first broke.  I remember countless "analysts" insisting that Miami receive the dreaded death penalty.  It seems now that they are suggesting that Miami "may face sanctions" when this inquiry is complete.

For those interested, an article can be seen here.
